I Cannot Believe I Did This Paragliding Jump!

Well, for somebody that hates flying and heights. I cannot believe I did this. Staying at Lykia World in OluDeniz Turkey I watched the paragliding every day as the Guys and Gals floated down to the hotel.

“Escape” run the paragliding experience from the hotel. (5 flights a day and up to 8 people each time) It’s not cheap but it is said they are the best in the business in that region, anyway. I can assure you I have never felt so scared in my life (I am happy to admit.)

I woke up the next morning with bigger balls and more grey hairs, but well worth stressing myself out for some reason. Maybe somebody can explain why to me one day. See the paragliding action at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YS5arRUpfbA

Good luck if you going to do it one day. It’s another tick in one of those life boxes.

Thanks Andrew - must say I was a little surprised to see a non-flier contribute here :-) Checked out the vid too, they do a nice job with those camera angles.. I've written a bit about this very place in Turkey in a couple of places on this site.
