Ozone Element - Safe Wing

by Mike
(UK)

I have now flown a total of just over fifty hours in my first year and a half of flying on the Ozone Element. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as a first glider; very easy handling and inflation.

So far it's been rock solid even in quite rough thermals. Climbs as well as any other glider and on trim speed pretty much the same speed as other wings; maybe a couple of mph slower. I am about 97kg on the 105kg max weight range, medium wing.

Basically, the Ozone Element is a very reassuring wing to fly for a first wing and a great introduction to paragliding.

Safety

Thanks Mike. Safety is a big concern for people with a casual interest in the sport, so this sort of post is good.
