Paragliding in Jackson Hole

by Nolan Heaps
(Jackson Hole, Wyoming, U.S.A.)

Clearing my lines before a flight in Jackson Hole.

Clearing my lines before a flight in Jackson Hole.

I am a paraglider pilot in Idaho falls. I started paragliding when I was 17, and this is a recent photo of me in Jackson Hole Wyoming, getting set up for a flight.

Proud of you!
by: Grandma

Nolan, you are amazing! You have probably seen more of God's beautiful scenes than some of us see in a lifetime. You are sure UP there..... I think I wouldn't even be able to look down. Thanks for sharing! Love you, Grandma Forrest.

Different!
by: Tim P.

Thanks Nolan - a different subject than the usual close-up of a flying paraglider. Good shot never-the-less, with the unusual terrain and magnificent mountain ranges as a back-drop. Plus of course the deflated wing which hints at the flying to come!

Check out this Paragliding Adventure Tour DVD.

I, too, can relate to having been a young pilot once. In my case it was a Blanik L13 sailplane in central Australia (the 'Red Center'), at the age of 15.
