ProDesign Accura Paraglider

Specs, test data and other useful information on the ProDesign Accura.

prodesign accura paraglider

A great frontal shot of a ProDesign Accura paraglider. You can see the pilot starting a turn, left brake toggle down, and the deflected trailing edge clearly visible. Photo from the manufacturer. He's looking in the direction of his turn, good lad.

Reminds me of a certain flying instructor I once flew with, in a Blanik L13 sailplane. He was known to threaten to hit you in the back of your head with his shoe if you didn't look before you turned! Yep, it's important.

Pro-Design Accura  starstarstarstar
I fly the small (70-90kg) Pro-Design Accura at about 82-85kg.

Lovely - fun to fly, agile, informative in thermals; stable in pitch, less so in roll....

A Good Book

Do you have at least a few hours of soaring experience under your belt? Keen to learn much more? The book Paragliding - A Pilot's Training Manual will fill out your knowledge nicely. Just remember it doesn't take the place of your instructor!
