Pro-Design Accura

by Andrew Craig
(London, UK)

I fly the small (70-90kg) Pro-Design Accura at about 82-85kg.

Lovely - fun to fly, agile, informative in thermals; stable in pitch, less so in roll. Light weight - good for hiking. Not smoking performance for a 1-2, but a good all-rounder. Now replaced by the Pro-Design Accura 2 - I haven't tried that yet.

I occasionally work for a school that sells Pro-Design gliders, as well as several other brands. I previously flew a Gin Bolero and a Firebird Grid.
