Independence Pioneer - NZ

by Ian Manton
(New Zealand)

PG2: 1year. Had a chance to fly the Independence Pioneer several times off Mount Maunganui in NZ. Wind around 12knts. Wing came up really easy and slow - so no issue of over flying.

Very responsive to weight shifting, and brakes. Goes well into wing overs - had a 30% collapse on left side due to my bad weight shifting, wing re-inflated quickly. I also fly a Dragon 3, this has a better glide ratio. It just wouldn't go down. Landing was great, can use brakes to come in to a touch landing. Nice wing.
